I never got that level of shitty service from any company in Pakistan that gave Bank Alfalah Limited. A few days back deducted a hefty amount (Zakat deduction) from my account. The account was opened as a Salary account in Islamic medium.
1 day Before the deduction I called at helpline and verify the account is Current and that is eligible for Zakat the agent mentioned account is not eligible for that at all, after all of that I verified 3 times, and the person was sure, the account not eligible.
After 24 hours the amount has been debited and I called at helpline again so. the new person said Sir's account is not eligible and may have any issues so they Will revert in 5 working days, Today I called and the new person said the complaint ID (230324008) Has remarked the account deduct because of the saving account.
Now I visited branch manager said "Bhai Helpline walo ko pata nhi hota is barey main" That is irreversible at all however That account is Currently Islamic but they have a saving touch. Bank Alfalah Limited what the F*** hell is that, You guys are truly pathetic, However, I am not eligible for zakat at all.
I need the reversal I have recorded calls and proofs as well.
